First, the growth of population brings a lot of crime issues for society, which is tremendously crucial. For instance, in the street, there are a lot of people who do drug in the subway station. There are also some people who steal things in the shop...So, in the crowed society, the crime issues have already crabbed the eye of Shanghai.
Second, the unemployment issue is also very vital to Shanghai. For instance, in the Pudong, every year, there are 10 percentages people who do not have a job so that they cannot support their families. So, the gap between wealth and poverty becomes larger and larger.
From these reasons above, we can obviously see that the growth of population brings a lot of social trouble to society.
