stop doing 是主动意识上的 停止
比如 He stops smoking. 就是他不再吸烟了.
而stop sb./sth. from doing 就是阻止（别人）之意
比如 The government is trying to stop the factories from polluting the air. 政府正在想办法阻止工厂污染空气.
第一个一般是自己有意识的停止某项活动,而第二个则往往是阻止他人或他物做某事.
这个就要讲到stop doing 和 stop to do 的区别了.这两个差别就比较大了,请注意区分.
stop doing 是 停止做某事
stop smoking 就是停止吸烟
而stop to do 是 停止去做某事 而并未提及停止了什么事情,只提到停止以后去做什么事
比如 他停下工作,去休息了
就有两个说法
stop working 或者 stop to have a relax
再比如这道题
应该意思为 上课了 我们停止下来（讲话）,去听老师讲课
所以应该是 stop to listen

所以A的意思不对 上课了怎么能停止听课呢
