1.用where you left it为表语从句,在主句It's...充当表语.
楼主可以把它类似于一个表示地点的介宾短语如on the book一样去看待.

这样,介宾短语on the desk同样在句中充当表语.
2.用定语从句来表达也可以,但是B那种是不可以的.
