i'm strongly against such a statement. Fashion is sth individually defined; by that i mean what i perceive as classy may appear outdated to others. So people should not have an obligation to keep up with the latest fashion. We should not be judged simply by what we wear. Also, being too concerned about being fashionable is time-consuming and can cost you an awful lot. Buying all those designer shoes and luxurious clothes is not a need but a vanity. For these reasons, I think people should be free to choose what their definition of latest fashion is.
