During this intergraded lab,the procedure was complex.First,we weighed out the Copper Sulfate and measured out the distilled water then mixed them together as a chemical compound in the beakers.Then we weighed out the iron nail and recorded the mass of each item.After that,we putted the beaker on the hot plate and heat it until the Copper sulfate started melting and dissolved the crystals.It started turning into blue liquid,and added the nail on.During the process,the substance (iron nail) was shaken and bubbled,it was look like the pressure of the oxygen started mixing with the water which absolutely manifested a chemical and physical reactions.The last step of this experiment was poured the liquid through the filter paper and waited until blue liquid wept down to that big beaker then folded the filter paper and wait until the second day.The day after was only to weigh out the filter paper again because we wanted to validate the law of conservation of mass,if the mass changed which means it does not follow the law,and if it has a zero change in mass which means the law was accepted in the experiment.
