Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

Today my topic is ‘Discover yourself’.

I would start by giving examples.

In such a world of modernization, such a world of civilization, every single soul shall have a chance to prove its value. So we see the disabled show their strength and strong wills on Paralympics’ stages while those adventurous ones reach the top of the world, Qomolangma, after suffering from the outrageous fortune. And a black man finally won the presidential election in the Whites’ society. What they made are not miracles, they just know to discover the real themselves deep in hearts, which can be done by every one of us.
If you don’t believe so, if you think you are just a guy that is more than ordinary and it is impossible for you to do such great things, haven’t you noticed that the ‘Impossible’ keep saying ‘I am possible’? In fact, no one is born perfect and brilliant as no one is God. Those who get more achievements discover themselves more. They understand that every one has got his own advantages and they are never too blind to compare their disadvantages to others’ advantages. If they are frogs, they know they can swim better than an ox, though much smaller.
So, discover yourself and be who you really are. You are only able to live once to realize your dream. Do you seriously prefer to be numb for whole life, wandering among shapes of men with fear and confusion? Of course not. Because you and I have read enough stories that so many people lost their dreams and gave in to the reality, living a plain life with a world of regrets. This is the last thing we wish happen. What we want is be more like ourselves and be less like others.
So the next time you are doubtful or very much uncertain. Try to let yourself know that if our courage of pursuing self discovery never falters, if our ambition once taking off never fails, we can be the heroes of ourselves. Who cares what time will bring on us then? All we have to do is to take a deep breath and call out loudly ‘Yes, we can’
