定语从句中的关系词就是由先行词在从句中所做的成分决定的.
如： i know the girl. the girl has a sister. 变为定语从句
i know the girl who has a sister.
i know the girl. we met the girl yesterday.
i know the girl whom we met yesterday.
i know the girl. the girl's name is mary.
i know the girl whose name is mary. 三句中的先行词都是 the girl, 但是第一句中 the girl 在从句中做主语,关系词用who；第二句中的the girl 在从句中做宾语,关系词用whom/ who ；第三句中的the girl‘s 在从句中做name 的定语,关系词用whose
或 i don't like the shop. the shop is in zhongshan street.
i don't like the shop which/ that is in zhongshan street. the shop 做主语
i don't like the shop. we bought a book in the shop.
i don't like the shop where we bought a book . the shop 做地点状语
