In the contemporary society,people are able to view exhibitions at home because of the development of technology.But in the meantime,there is no unanimous consensus on whether museums and art galleries will be closed soon.Views on this issue vary from person to person.
Personally,I am in favor of the view that we need to reserve the museums and art galleries.As we know,it is generally accepted today that museums and art galleries play a very important role in our society,as they are the places where people can appreciate fine art and also benefit for us to cultivate our temper.If these museums and art galleries disappeared,we would lose such a good place which can afford us spiritual enjoyment.
In addition,even though it is very convenient for us to watch exhibitions via TV or internet at home,we also lose a chance to have a close observation to appreciate arts in the meantime.As a matter of fact,people who really fall for arts or history will choose to go to museums or art galleries instead of watching exhibition at home.
Consequently,we also should not overlook that historical relics or work of art,such as painting or sculptures,need places to store them.If we close these museums or art galleries,hardly can I imagine that how we can reserve these treasures.It may be a difficult task for us to find an appropriate place to replace them.On the other hand,it is worthy pointing out that some museums or art galleries have faced a financial problem so that low income hardly supports them to continue opening.But I believe that if the manager or government can take some effective measures to attract visitors,the current condition will be improved.
To conclude,regarding this issue,my own view is that museums and art galleries will not disappear,because they are not replaced in our society.Also,I would argue that it seems highly advisable to help some museums or art galleries increase revenue.
