I used to have difficulty in my English study and often failed in the exams.I felt very disappointed and nearly gave up.My teacher talked to me one day.She said that I would surely make progress if I to spent more time on it.I made up my mind to work harder.My English was improved a lot in three months' time.
We can sovle our problems if we face them bravely.

Life is a joy, but sometimes it can be frustrating too. I failed on an English exam last semester and I had a hard time figuring out why. I attended the classes and I did all the assigned homework. When it came out with such a low grade, I was very disappointed in myself and even felt like it was the end of the world because I remembered I got a terrible beaten by my dad the other time I got an F. For fearing the spanks, I didn't tell my parents in the first place, instead, I put a lot of pressures on myself that I would have to get a much better mark next time so that my parents would be able to see a progress instead of a fail. Most importantly, I realized that regular attendance of the classes and homework exercises are required but just not enough because the exams are not about checking your attendance or homework submission. It's an evaluation of students' understanding on the materials covered in each course. In other words, instead of physically being in class, you might want to be thinking at all time during class and asking questions; instead of getting homework done, you might want to spend more time reasoning your answers and checking if you have got the answers correct before they are handed in. You might also want to learn from the answers you got wrong. You might want to do some extra readings to expand vocabulary and improve your writing skills. By doing so, my English has got much better now.
I'm glad that I handled the stress and overcame the obstacle. Furthermore, I applied these strategies in other subjects and made geat progresses too. Eventually, I felt that turning a failure to a success is one of the best joys in life.
