【词义辨析】find out 与find,look for：
find out 发现,查出,弄清.经过一番打听、调查之后才弄清楚；
find发现,找到.多指偶然发现或打听到失踪的东西或者人,着重强调结果；look for寻找.只强调动作和过程,不着重结果,也可说是 find之前的寻找过程.例如：
① I found a watch on the road．我在路上发现了一块手表.
②Please find out what time they are coming．请弄清他们什么时候来.
③ He is looking for you here and there．他到处在找你.

【记忆技巧】find out是动词加副词构成的动词短语.英语中类似的短语还有：take out拿出,come out出来,go out出去,look out小心,put out熄灭等等.这类短语如果接代词it(them) 作宾语时,通常把 it(them) 放在两词中间.如 take them out,put it out．
