因为外国人很喜欢用进行时来表示一般现在时可以表示的意思.这也是我后来在工作中和他们交流才发现的.大多数情况下只是一种语言现象,有时候是为了强调这件事在进行中.
这句话本来也可以写成：but i am not paid to write this article.这是个一般现在时.如果是老外,就喜欢用进行时来强调这件事,要添加be doing 这样的词组进去,那么原先的一般现在时就会变成你提到的这句这个样子.
同样的例子还有,i will be waiting for your reply.按照我们的理解,本来是可以说i will wait for your reply.只不过说话者想要强调wait这件事,所以习惯性的用了进行时.
